BEST settings?
what are the best settings, i have a 144hz monitor, gtx 1060 and i5 6500, i know render distance in h1z1 played a huge role in fps being lowered. i dont see an option to change it? and the game looks like a potatoe and blurry if the settings arent right. someone please help thanks!

With my pc settings (See my profile) i play mostly at 50-70fps and sometimes like when the game starts, an artillery strikes is near or something like that my fps drops for a seconds at 42fps.

I was playing in Ultra IN 900p

I've heard a streamer say that there is more desync on higher settings. I don't know if this is actually true though.

I had to drop my settings down to low at 720p. Its still incredibly glitchy. Its a lot of fun and can only get better with addressing performance issues. I'm not sure we're going to see a short development cycle for this game.

Running on: 16g's ram, Amd 6300, RX480.

i tried that my self. but i have trouble seeing players with these settings at 1080p with textures on medium and everything else low except for anti aliasing and post processing, when i see a player in distance its just a bunch pixels, very hard to notice in the terrain, what setting is the player model / draw distance/render distance?

read last patchnotes, it explains how to decrease render distance in cfg file. it helps quite a lot with fps. also there are no best video settings yet, as it is pretty unoptimized atm, so play with what you can for now.

I never really look for enemy at a distance but i will take note on that. The reason why i put on low is because i keep getting rubberbanding

Yeah that HD sure is a limiting factor in FPS. ;)
