I have a siberia 800 wireless headset, I have the same issue. I mute sounds during startup because it's so loud (pre-game phase), so dunno if it has something to do with thtat.

Yeah, reversed. Same issue.

Specifically, they mean that left is right, and right is left, but also forward is back, and back is forward. My sound is correct for everything else, and due to the nature of my mic, reversing the headset isn't feasible for anything except solo play.

It makes it damn near impossible to have any non-visual based awareness, because short of retraining yourself "wrong", you're always going to instinctively twitch towards the sound's apparent source.

Trying to work out what the cause is, and how to fix it. It's hard, since there's no training/sound configuration/etc mode. But it's definitely specific to BG:PU

...Aaaand, if you haven't gotten a fix for it yet, it seems to be an issue with Dolby surround sound.

If your headset supports Dolby 7.1, but you don't have the software (not the drivers, but specifically the surround sound package), it gets reversed. Not sure why, since basic surround sound functions for everything else.

But yeah. Get that sorted out, and hopefully it'll fix the whole mess for you. It did for me.

I have logitech headset as well and these are the issues that I'm having.
1. testing out of the game its working fine.. other games its working fine.
2. tested the sound in the lobby of the game works fine.
3. loading in the plane and hearing people talk its fine
4. Landing by someone to test it and its reversed from just 30seconds ago.

anyone have a real fix for this. Reverse is cute in all but a real fix.

-SOLVED-
Had the same problem these steps solved it for me:
1: Uninstall Logitech Gaming software.
2: Restart PC.
3: Re-Install Logitech Gaming software.
4: Restart PC.
5: Launch Logitech Gaming software and afterwards PUBG, it should be fixed.

I just had the same in the last game, very odd and got me killed easily as my team mates footsteps and gunshots were coming from in front of me and he was 20 meters behind me haha

I have the Steelseries H Wireless but I doubt that's the issue.

I'm having the same issue, but I do not have logitech headphones, it's near impossible to play this game.
