Move the Vehicle enter and exit key

I have died almost every game to falling damage because i went to turn right and hit the F key instead of the D key

I think the best solution in my mind would be to add a separate map that exits vehicles that can be enabled or disabled.
I often reach up to escape map when driving and end up returning to F instead of D. I prefer that F be my normal action button it just sucks to misplace my finger upon returning and screw your whoe game up. maybe have a 1-5% remaining health level for self inflicted car damage?

My push to talk key is T and my keyboard is very sensitive so i die a lot to this, if there was a way to remap the exit vihicle to ctrl f or something it would be very helpful, since i dont want to have to ctrl f for every interaction

F key is a standard key for action in many shooters.

So is the ability to re-map a key :)

They should make the F button be safe, just like it is for carrying someone or priming a grenade.

F = Interaction

Press and Hold F to enter/exit the vehicle.
Now you can have a 500-700 ms delay to hold F down to exit and enter vehicle.

You can easily accidentally die by jumping out of the vehicle as you were to cancel the heal item, and just on the moment you press the F key to cancel, the healing ends as you get over the 75% and healing ends automatically - so what the F does is exit you from vehicle.

It is not difficult to make the enter/exit vehicle requiring a holding down the interaction key.

When the vehicle's moving speed exceeds 60 km/h, a 3-second countdown timer will be initiated upon attempting to leave the vehicle.
For speeds at or below 60 km/h, players can leave the vehicle immediately.
If the Leave Vehicle key/button is pressed again within the 3-second window, the leaving process can be cancelled.
This feature can be toggled on or off through settings."

lol it's a 2017 post, dude, and it's from the first few months of the game's early access release. that's how old it is lol
