By the way, I say this having played an early build of the game. I stepped away to do something and upon returning was greeted with a message telling me that it would cut me some slack this one time, but I couldn't do that in the future! I stuck with it a bit longer, but that annoying red bar counting down how much time I have left is just too much of a nag. If I want a chess clock with my turn-based gaming, I don't need the game designer thrusting one at me. I'm sure there's an app or something I could download.
This will save me from dealing with a Steam refund. Now I can just not buy. Thanks Tom!
Is it used to provide an additional challenge at higher levels? If so I would prefer if another way was found to do this. It won't stop me from buying the game. It would be a shame if the timer became an obstacle to the game gaining wider popularity.
As always thanks for your feedback! It really helps BrainGoodGames be the best they can be!
Thanks so much, BrickRoadDX. Sorry to be a pain about it, but huge props for understanding that some of us are just kinda slow. :) You guys rock!
Ooh, and that's also where you plugging in the new mode you'll be unveiling on Friday. Can't wait.
