Question: Is there local co-op for this game

I was expecting to see a local co-op sign for the game when I looked at the page because Co-Optimus claims this game can do it. I've got 2 xbox controllers and I'm keen to find games I can do local co-op with.

I saw another topic telling me this has controller support already, how about co-op?

As far as i know there is no local co-op.

I'm serious. There is local coop for this game. You need at least one xbox controller to be able to play the splitscreen. The option won't show up on the menu unless you have the xbox controller plugged in. To do it, start a single player level with the xbox controller plugged in, go to the game menu, and at the bottom it should say something like, "start splitscreen". then have fun with someone on your computer. :)

Nah I believe you. I got a couple of Xbox controllers and have been hunting down games with local multiplayer. Thanks for the reply, I'd written this one off after Morgen's reply.

Same here. They are so hard to find. Any really good shooter games that don't involve zombies on steam?

Alan Wake isn't multiplayer, but it's a good controller game, and has shooting.
If you haven't already, take a look at the website co-optimus, you can filter out a lot of games, and then all you have to do is check if they have controller support.

Ok. My dad and I like to play games together, but they are so hard to find for the pc. We like to play Cabella's Dangerous hunts 2013 together, but I was looking for more shooter games (like Call of Duty Black Ops) that had local coop....... I will have to look at that one. Hopfuly that will help solve my problem. :)

There is local coop - vertical splitscreen.

Terminator Salvation is a third-person shooter with split screen coop on PC. Player 1 uses mouse & keyboard or a 360 controller, and player 2 uses a controller...
