Very nice game

Dodger game relying on yours reflexes.
Grind fest basically
to rake up enough points to level up for skill points,
running around dodging bullets, flying objects, and picking up cash for upgrades.

Fun at first, gets alittle dull through half the progress after level 20.

Could really use some menu for button configurations for the keyboard,
toggle Sound On - Music Off.

Fortunately the game saves your level and stages progress even when you dies.


Playable.

It's got quite a bit of content for the price and it's not a bad take on the top down GTA formula but depending on your slant for said such sprees of sacking and slaughter... might get too repetitive rather darn quick.

So what's different from the 1st game
+The game itself is expanded to have battles with aliens - every some levels you get caught by the UFO and then you go their planet and kill some zergs, following with a boss battle.
All the rest things are basically the same: you upgrade your characters stats, and you upgrade your weapon stats.
A lot of levels, you change your weapon type every now and then.
+Great music tracks tho

State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem is a fun shoot em-up which feels like a bullet-hell at some parts. For convenience I'll break this review in pieces to address the most important parts of the game.

The game is what you would expect from a game like this. Clean, simple, yet also fun. There are times that it will feel repetitive but overall it's a nice time waster.

It is what you see in the pictures. Hand drawn doodles that at the same time feel nice. They are not rushed or drawn badly, they are actually quite pleasing and they environments are well made.

I'm pretty sure no one reading this review would expect a game like this to have a nice soundtrack and to be honest I didn't either. I was quite pleasantly surprised to hear that the soundtrack was quite nice but at the same time quirky, in a nice sense, fitting with the style of the game perfectly.

State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem is a fun little game where you can waste your time in. For the 99 cents price tag (49 cents at the time of this review) it's an easy desicion to make. Get this game, have it in your library and when you want to pass some time play it.

Positive surprise! Wanted to drop it in the shovelware corner of the library and installed it just for fun. After some levels I am sure that I´ll play it to the end and catch those achievements.

If you´re looking for a solid top-down shmup and don´t want to spend big money, just give this one a try. Gfx, soundtrack and overall sillyness combine to a neat gaming experience and a good "just 5 more minutes" factor.

Works great on my Linux (Debian 9 with Nvidia drivers), no issues or glitches. Game is made in Unity, however developer put alot of efforts to make it unique and fun. Despite low price tier this game features very unique art and sound style (developer created it by hand and recorded all sounds by himself - and it looks and sounds amazingly fun). You play as a robber with a gun, your goal is to follow quest line while killing hostile bypassers and trashing cars. You can drive a car or move by foot, collect money from killed people and upgrade your talents and guns. Pretty standard idea, however you'll be laughing most of the time because of visuals and sounds.
If you'll rush into new levels you can find yourself unprepared to beat some bosses, in this case just start any easy level and grind for a bit to gain few levels untill you feel comfortable to proceed. I like such flexibility, that means I don't have to be stressed with steep diffculty curve.

10/10, Highly recommended! If you love shooters, good laugh and bullet hell - this game is definitely must have!

Wonderful game with attractive destructive power for such a mini game

No matter how many points I put into speed, I feel like I'm moving with lead boots on. It's a shame, because the whole crayon drawing and voice-based sound effects are really appealing. Still, I didn't have fun with this one.
