it seems whether the pictures are firmly connected to the music and if i put some new into, everything moves the duration of time the new pictures are shown in the later presentaion.
of course i can move everything back to the right position but thats so much work and all i ve done so far is useless.
Photostory offers 2 possible visualization modus for the arranger(I mean the bottom part of the screen, where you put your pictures and audio an so forth).
You can work in the timeline or in the storyboard.
If you work in the storyboard and you extract a picture from the middle of an existing project the gap will be filled automatically, in the timeline you do not have this functionality but you can move all the objects located preset after the deleted picture at once by using the extended mouse functionality available under the preview screen(I have uploaded a screenshot in the artwork area for you to see).
If you want to change a pictures that is already in the project and you wish the new picture to have the exact duration of the previous one, you will use the mouse function "exchange object"(there is a second screenshot about this function :))
To use this function you will first click on the picture to exchange, then you will select over the mediapool the new picture you wish to add to the project and then you click on the button "exchange object".
If you want to change the visualization time of a single picture you can switch to the Storyboard and click on the duration time indicated under the picture itself.
A small windows will pop up, where you will be able to change the visualization time.
