since this game is free as of right now on epic, are the combos difficult to master? Is it tekken hard?

Well not Tekken hard but there is the Dragon input for (Z motion with analog stick) example.

If u can play it for free why not just try?

The combo system is freeform enough that you can find routes that work for you. Optimal stuff can be tricky, but I simply don't do optimals.

Tekken combos are not particularly difficult, so comparatively yes they're hard.
But TFH is not nearly demanding as much out of you as some 2D fighters to do lengthier combos. And as mentioned by Missingno, as with any fighter, you are not obligated to do optimals.
