Edit: Checked up on it, and they've got none of the options in there checked, so they aren't getting any input doubling up shenanigans, so hopefully if you get everything unchecked on that settings page you should be good to go.
Edit: Also tested in Skullgirls since it uses the same engine and had no issues. Training dummy was set to manual and didn't have any issues. Also didn't mirror inputs on controller input options.
The person I talked to about theirs with TFH has the PS4/PC one only, and it apparently is working just fine, so I'm wondering what could be the problem if yours is the same, but not working. Let me know how the above stuff works out.
Edit: Installed the new firmware that was just released and now it works.
