Also how would you tweak hops. they are basically: if 7\8\9 pressed for X frames do a hop if longer, do jump. You can only stretch X window but it is not like there are lots of room for it.
Now, the real question is are you playing Paprika or Arizona?
That's exactly what I was thinking an option that increases the frames of leniency by 1-2 frames.
I've tried using keyboard before and I hate it. I've also tried using the joystick on my DS4, it makes short hops much easier but makes everything else inconsistent. The D-pad is the only way that feels right to me.
I've tried doing that on a trigger button. It did not turn out as well as I'd hoped. Maybe a bumper would do better.
I'm a Paprika main.
