Cuddles (the snake boss) fight is just ridiculous
He does not need that extra phase once you beat him up-close the first time. 3 phases is enough, he doesn't need 4. It's difficult enough even getting to that 3rd phase with enough health to stand a decent chance because his attacks cover nearly the entire screen and do quite a lot of damage. It's just an absurd level of difficulty. Also dodging his overhead attack in the 2nd phase is pretty much impossible unless you just hide in a corner the whole time.

I chose experienced mode and I was able to finish it after a while! My strat was to just ignore the acid rain, it doesn't do more damage than the snake does.

You dont need to Dodge the overhead atack in the 2nd phase, Just go to a corner and block.

In the last phase you just have to bait the overhead by crouching, block it and punish after.

Currently I'm stuck at a part that is ridiculous, you fight 3 waves of 3 enemies and then as Bear with the same health. ♥♥♥♥ this part.

Has he been just spamming his throw OTG for you as well?

I can always get to him with full health, and he still just decides to win. Doesn't matter what I do.

Yup, that and his cheap cross ups. I'll probably defeat him once I boot up the game again, just got super salty because you have to do all those fights again

Same here, the amount of things coming at you at once {acid spam, zippy that will keep hitting you on wakeup and the snake slam} is a bit much to deal with at once. I've yet to get past that stage.

I beat the bear on experienced difficulty once I realized that you can hit dead predators for extra special bar, and if you kill a predator using a special without them blocking you get 3 green health orbs in match. (its nice having a game let u discover things on your own sometimes, but its not obvious consistent or reliable person to person)

And on bear I down lassod him, back-up-step 2 or 3 times, down lasso him if it misses back-up step again, etc until he dies.

Cuddles at least telegraphs all his moves I found he was fun, a little challenging but some challenge is good. Velvet and birds were not fun (at least let me lasso them during their attack animation or something). Bear, was fun after I learned alot more but it did take quite some time had to sleep n try again in the morning but got em eventually. Oleander was meh, Paprika was annoying but charming and how u dodge her is similar to figuring out how to dodge the bird dive-grab.

it's not even hard don't complain about difficulty if you've just started playing

I think my major complaint is not having the option to immediately restart the fight at the status I was at. Walking back up, healing and having to skip the dialogue is pretty frustrating.

This, honestly my biggest frustration, the fights were really fun actually.
Finally some difficult FG bosses but because of mechanics/patterns you have to learn and smart AI that can pressure/combo/defend properly instead of input reading or just damage sponges.

Game over screen should have a third option to restart the fight that you lost on.
