so servers going down shouldnt be a thing
tho i admit i havnt tested it out
make sure both are using the same version of the game
no matter how small a mod, any mod will prevent a succesfull connection if you dont both have the same mods
1. this games development ended years ago
2. every story campaign works perfectly fine
3. bug/crash issues you are most likely seeing 2023 is from 10th gen+ intel issues but if you read there is a guide to fix
4. there is a nice swanky custom difficulty settings doodad right next to the hard mode option that lets you tweak alot of ♥♥♥♥ making the game more challenge eg: my campaign i lowered the amount of threat needed for enemies to invade/assault/reinforce/repair + increased leadership all around by 25% (leadership affects how many ships can be on a battlefield at a single time atm i can fit 1700 pts worth of ships with out spawning reinforcments)
5. never played coop i have no friends but the way i play by parking my entire fleet in a nebula all in lock on stance (unless it is a triggered mission or environmental conditions eg: falling asteroids) only ships i ever lose are my firestorm escorts and/or light cruisers even vs orks/nids. nobody really likes playing with someone who has torp's, nova's, fighter escorts & plasma bombs up the waazoo and can wipe out the first wave of enemy ships in 2-3mins.
6. i dont think there is a single game that can even compare to the amount of fire power you have at your disposal in this game that represents a somewhat realistic range setting (game uses kilometers not meters so yes we got weapons capable of hitting out over 25000km away.) macro cannon shells the size of leman russ tanks to baneblades, torpedos the size of skyscrapers, nova cannons which fire a ballistic shell with the same amount of energy as a mini/small sun. i love it, take your heresy somewhere else
I'm happy you love it so much, the game was fun for what I played but I got it for co-op exclusively. They advertise co-op and yet there is none. Don't insult me for being disappointed by their false advertising.
