How to Skip Campaign Prologue

Hello Admirals,

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2's second Beta just started! It features the first sectors of the Necron and Imperium campaigns, additionally to the Prologue and full skirmish mode available in the first Beta.

Your file saves should have been deleted but we thought that you might want to skip the Campaign prologue if you played it alreayd in the last Beta - here is a workaround to do that!

• After launching the game once, head to your config folder of Battlefleet Gothic Armada II, in your appdata folder. You can copy/paste the following in the research tab to access it with this link: %LOCALAPPDATA%\BattlefleetGothic2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

• Find the file game.ini

• Edit it with a file editor program such as wordpad or notepad

• Find the line “bHasPlayedPrologue=False”

• Change it to “bHasPlayedPrologue=True”

• Save the file

• Restart the game

You can now access the campaign.

Would it be possible to just not lock out the campaign? making the prologue a choice not a requirement?

With this you inky get access to imperial campaign. Necron campaign still is blocked

Im such a scrub how do I do this? I can not find this file anywhere and the Necron campagin is locked becasue for some reason the game does not recongnize Ive completed the Prologue and the game just keeps kicking me back to the main menu when I leave the Cadia sector as the Imps.

yeah despite playing the game for almost 30 hours already I dont have that file. It is not under the link you posted. That takes me to the Engine folder and that has literally 4 lines and none of them have anything to do with Prologue.l

I would love to play this game, but every time i try to play through the prologe it crashes, and the directions here are too vauge, where is the appdata folder?
It'd be greatly appreciated if in the the next update or hotfix the prologe and cutscences were skippable.

Just open windoeskey + R and drop the adress they posted in the OP, but sure don't know what they mean with research tab either, I believe they meant search tab of the taskbar in windows 10.

This is correct. I copied and pasted the link they provided into windows search, pulled open the exact file needed and you just need click game, then CTRL+F Prologue on that game file to find what they were talking about and change False to True.
