"Substance" Folder

My main drive's a small SSD, looking at what's taking up space I found a folder called "Substance" that contains hundreds of cache files taking up 1gb of room. Given how the game doesn't even save your setup in skirmish battles, I find it hard to believe anything of "substance" could take-up 1gb.

I found the same folder but already 1.5 gigabytes in size. Have you tried deleting this folder when the game is installed? For on the one hand there is space on the hard disk and one and a half gigabytes is not a problem, but on the other hand, if it is a fat cache, you can delete it without changing it why not?

Probably safe to delete its contents:
I tried deleting this folder, and didn't experience any crashes/issues in the 5 minutes that I spent testing if it broke anything.
The game created a new 88mb in the "Substance" folder, so I believe it is a big cache that the game uses to load things faster.
