Imperial Campaign Repentance Caliban Special Mission
Has anyone survived this yet?
(Spoilers Below)

It's where the you have to choose between the 2 Dark Angel factions, their boarding actions turned my whole fleet into drifting hulks!

Did it on second try, just let the Chaos ships hammer the Dark Angel BS and he will be easy to kill.

Use Nova Cannon spam to delete the attacking cruisers, not a fun or easy battle anyway

I found a new strategy... I lost. I let the flagship get destroyed, wave 2 never came. No renound and I assume I lost a fleet reward or similar, but I didnt lose a single ship this way.

Try using ships with super long range weapons like the retribution or other ships with plasma macros and you can stay clear of the boarding actions.

I fought this one last night. I chose to fight against the Fallen Angels. The loyalists all died so I didn't get the free DA fleet reward and Spire was KO'd but they didn't finish me off. I actually ended up winning the battle in the end and while I fought against the Fallen, I earned favour with their faction after the win; it made no sense at all? I wouldn't mind trying it again as a new fleet would be helpful against the onslaught of invasions I'm facing.

As a suggestion, use escorts to eat boarding actions, the same way in a defensive battle you'd use turrets. If you can even tank the first wave of boarding with useless ships, you should be able to destroy a lot of the enemy fleet before they get another go.

Macragges Honour has a pretty high troop count. I sided with the Dark Angels, wiped the Fallen and lost Korahael... Considering I'm at the fleet limit and Bobby G is already my sixth Astartes fleet, I can live with that outcome :D

Yes, no losses for my fleet:
1 x Retribution
1 x Mechanicus Tyrant
4 x Overlord

Let the Osmadiel BB eat the Chaos shots and just pepper the Chaos fleet from afar, and you should win that first battle easily. When the last of the Chaos ships gets destroyed and you get the choice just make sure you are on the LEFT side of the map. Loyalist DA come to left side of the map and the Fallen Angels to the right side of the map. Just let the Loyalist BB lead the way to eat the boarding actions (it got like 35 stacks) and kill the Fallen ships before the Loyalist BB is hulked (ramming and torpedoes, focusing engines).

Got out of the mission with every ship alive and the Loyalist BB on red crew.

Tried 2 times with my imperial and mech fleets. Suffered some loses, but my allied BAttlecruiser would get hulked and then would detonate itself....

Sooo, i took spire and 2 SM fleets of my own. Beat them at their own game.
