Move ships between fleets in a campaign.
I really miss the ability to move ships between fleets in a campaign.
Are the developers going to do something about this?
On a high level of difficulty, every ship counts. Simply removing an experienced ship from the fleet without the ability to transfer it to another fleet is stupid! From this follows the second annoying moment - the inability to choose which ships will go into battle with the limit points. As a result, you have to send half-dead ships to the battle, when in reserve there are ships with full HP.
Developers, pay attention!
Ps. I apologize for my english.

You can swap ships between fleets now. You can also sell entire fleets if you need space.

probably not
the different leader types have restrictions on what ship types they can have

the devs did mention they are looking into what ships go into battle
I would like to see a selection screen for that

Let the opportunity to move ships will be only between ships of the same faction, and there will be no problem with the leaders.

There is another variant.
Let in systems with ports there will be "hubs" where the player will be able to stack the ships he does not need and take them from there when needed. Again, depending on the fraction.

I have been thinking about this also for IMP campaign and if they do indeed make sandbox campaign. Here is idea you can mothball extra ships at shipyards where you set them on 0/25/50/75 percent manned and they act as a garrison of sorts. Now the cost for upkeep would relate to percentage of rediness and ships would fight at a reduced lvl depending of what percent you choose for them. It would also take some time to reactivate ships as crew would need to be found for them.

Definitely, lack of "transfer from fleet A to Fleet B" is madness.
No fleet management before battle - REALLY???? Sure, game about fleet tactics is about fkng random-generated additionally user pain, isn't?

Devs, dont give me a reason to contact with Officio Assassinorum, huh

I think what I'd like is the concept of the "fleet reserve", which is a very slow moving (1 move point) fleet at 50% morale and crew points (crappy skeleton crews). You can transfer ships to it (takes 1 turn) and from it (takes 2 turns).

And thus you can park this in a stable system and use it to transfer ships around, get them repaired, etc.

Except for the Tyranids, who should be able to eat their own ships for healing as a basic ability, with all ships having the same xp as the flagship (which gets it at half rate).

I just want to be able to select what ships I want to take into battle for the points allowed.

Yep, we need to move ships between fleets!

Say you have two fleets and enough resources to buy one cruiser. Only neither fleet has capacity to take the cruiser. I want to move a frigate from one fleet to the other, thus fulling the capacity of that fleet and at the same time freeing enough capacity in the first to buy the cruiser. Right now I have to operate with two under capacity fleets and spare resources in the bank. The fleets are even in the same system, it makes absolutely no sense not to do this because of some arbitrary designation of which ship comes under which (imaginary - since I lead them all) command.. Frankly its just frustrating.

Did they ever fix this one?

nope.

Sad. And you also can't disband a fleet :(

I so agree. We need someway to balance fleets and be able to transfer ships between fleets. Have it take the whole turn movement of the two fleets or something to make it a harder decision or some penalty.

I want to see the devs actually make an effort to justify this. It's baffling.

I keep randomly checking this forum hoping the devs will fix this game. I think they have moved on already why create content for a flop game? They have a history of quickly moving on and this is the last time they will get me.

Hey everyone!

Although I can't comment on this particular feature at this time, the team is working very hard on a huge update that focuses on significantly improving the single player experience, which will be coming this summer. The team is utterly committed to the game and community feedback is always a priority. :)

We will be sharing a lot more information on this very soon.
