Remember the holy principles of 40k games:
-If there is an inquisitor and you are not it, you'll have a very bad time because of him at one point regardless what you do for him.
-If Eldar asks you of something, you will be f**ed if you don't do it, but Eldar first and foremost pursue their own goals, treating Imperium as tools.
I honeslty hate these pretentious inquisitors except the inquisitor from the first game, he was sick.
But I also hate the eldar arrogance and if I was in charge I would never side with an alien xenos
You can also get executed if you follow them :P.
Inquisitors have a lot of pull and they are supposed to protect the imperium, but they wouldent hesitate to throw a pawn under the buss if it benefits them and they don't have anyone looking over there shoulder to make sure they do what they are supposed too.
On the other hand, Eldar are xenos that consider humans pretty much as we consider chimpanzees. They will gladely sacrifise a thousand humans to save one eldar and not see anything wrong with that, if anything they might be suprised that your making a fuss about it since its obvious that eldar lifes are more important.
Regretted it ever since.
If i replay the campaign i am sticking with the inqisitor.
If only because of that backstabbing-good-for-nothing-sleeping-with-everything-and-deserve-to-be-set-on-fire yvraine desided our alliance alliance was over the moment i saved her craftworld by killing my own side and leaving the sector without so much a a token force to help us in our fights, that near-do-well has cause me more hate for the eldar then any other eldar in the history of video games.
Considering I have Big Bobby-G attached to my fleet though, siding with the eldar made sense. Inquisitor Darkhammer can blow all the smoke he wants, I'm with the Lord Commander.
I'll replay the mission and side with the Inquisitor to see what happens.
I love it how Spire has won dozens of near impossible battles, fought opponents with better weapons, ships and battle expertise. Yet when he gets sent to the future all these new leaders of the imperium treat him like garbage even when knowing of his victories. Whats makes it worse is Spire excepts it. I started hating the main guy simply cause he has no back bone.
Spire is kinda the ideal admiral in the imperium. A admiral (or anything else for that matter) in the imperium generally do not talk back at a superior unless he/she wants to get shot. Chains of command is a very big deal in the warhammer 40k world (for humans at least) and only space marines or other organisations like them can get away with defiance* (since they technically exist outside the normal imperial organisation).
*With very few exceptions.
I havent played the part with the choice yet, but if the choice is between a traitor and a xeno i say fire at both of them if possible! :P
How much he accepts it depends on your choices, but to say he has no backbone is silly. The guy underwent extreme torture to make sure he was free of heresy and still came out of it ready to kick Abbadon's teeth in, then when he got to the future he faces down every single enemy of man-kind while never once falling for heresy, always standing above for the best interests of the Imperium.
Furthermore, that inquisitor was an A-hole vs Spire. Guillaume trusts Spire who the hell is this lowly inquisitor to judge his actions. He deserved to die ages ago. Loved seeing his ship disintegrate.
Both side have a unique achievement. BOTH grant you peace and eradicate the threat of Eldars.
Darkhammer kills the craftworld if you side with him.
Alderi retreats from all sectors if you side with them.
I decided to side with Alderi ... Darkhammer overzealous attitude has cost the imperium greatly.
his achievements seems to be "not good" in the lore. so i decided to ram some spurs up his ship.
it was for a mutual benefit.
THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!!! NOT WASTE!
