Fleet size limit

Just how small is the limit in campaign battles? I'm only in turn 10 so I don't have many capitol ships but i still only have a few of them show up and no way to even say which ones do. I have a cruiser, LC and escort my imperial fleet, 2 LC's in my Marine fleet and a LC and escort in my Mechanicum fleet. This is a small force in battlefleet standards but the game randomly picks 3 capitol ships and one escort. The rest of the ships aren't in the battle. Is this going to be fixed?

You get all the first fleet assuming there is room, then it goes to the 2nd and starts with the Flagship then it adds others from the 2nd fleet to get as close to the limit as possible, if there is still space it moves onto the 3rd fleet and does the same.
Its annoying you can't choose but with planning you can normally get roughly what you want and the rest can warp in when others warp out.
You get more Leadership, capacity for ships in battle, each renown level.

fleet cap goes to 1,000 with leadership cap to 1350, by level 10 i think or maybe 13?

Your fleet shows up in the order you placed them (the final screen before you go into battle). You can only have as many ships on the field as your current leadership allows. You'll be able to deploy more ships later in the campaign as you gain renown, and even more than that once the beta branch goes live.

Once the beta is live the cap will be raised to 1650 by level 16

I've been using the save editor to play with a 3500 fleet cap. It is GLORIOUS.
