The art of deepstriking with Space Marines
I have tested all the vanilla Space Marine fleets against other factions. Of course i could not test it against every faction but i have focused mostly on long range fighting fleet as enemies like Chaos fleets, Taus fleets and Eldar.

The vanilla fleet does not fit my playstyle very well so i created my own fleet.

The skills i chosse for my flagship were:

-Micro warp jump: Micro warp jump to get close to the enemy. The BFGA 1 Veterans do now this skill. In my opinion it is very important to choose this one to get close to long range fleets.

-Disruption Bomb: Kills enemy shields. To perform lightning strikes you have to to bring down the enemy shields first. So this helps a lot. Even when the enemy has chosen better shield skills this bomb will bring down the shields.

-1st Company Terminators: When performing a lightning strike the critical aussault chance is increased by 45%. Well terminators hits like a truck.

-Culexus Assasin: Now the most important skill in my opinion in combination with the terminators. This skill inflicts 500 points moral loss i addition to the other effects.

The space marine have an extra skill on most of their ships: "Honor the chapter" it is basically an additional lighting strike. So you have basically 2 lightning strike and one boarding action on space marine ships.

Space marines are immune to morale losses. Because of the passive "And they shall know no fear" Furthermore they have the passive "Exceptionnal Troop Efficiency" and "Surgical Strike" The two last passive skills make them bording and lightning strike masters. You do not have to "choose" this 3 skills. They are part of the faction.

The ships i have chosen:

Battle Barge MK I: Because i am a friend of torpedos

2x Strike Cruiser MK III: Because of the lance batteries. Especially against fast moving targets they are better than torpedos. (Yes i like torpedos, but the fleet must be competitive)

2x Vanguard MK III Light Cruisers: Because of the launch bays. Bomber can be your scouts. And with the launch bays you get Thunderhawk squadrons. So you can bring even more space marines to enemy ships to crush the filthy chaos brutes. (Or Xenos)

1 Nova frigate because of the long range scanners.

When you are playing with this fleet compostition then make sure you are always focus on one target. Place the distruption bomb and then lightning strike the hell out of the enemy ship. Because of the 500 point morale loss the enemy ships either mutiny or loose their whole crew and only the hulks remain. Of course do not forget your boarding skills and Thunderhawks.

But be advised. The space marines do not have many ships. Every ship counts. Focus firing of Chaos fleets or Tau fleets can really hurt. But when you manage to get close enough to the enemy ships it is a pure slaugherfest.
