Are eldar corsairs and asuyrani underpowered or do I just suck?
I have had the least success with them and when I rarely find them online I have no trouble blowing them up, I have had some success with focusing on point capping, but depending on the map layout. They are so squishy and they dont do that much dmg honestly. Missiles are decent but that's about it.

So I mainly do 2v2s but I have been trying corsairs and they are pretty bad. I have got two builds that "work" but the dps just isn't there despite their stupid high alpha.

Asuyrani on the other hand are amazing.

They got hit with the nerf bat in the first game so hard its still felt in the sequel. So it isn't just you, eldar factions just aren't allowed to win without space marine fanboys getting seriously butt hurt. They need to change the holofield mechanics away from the whole movement thing too in order to reduce the obscene micro.

Tindalos posted all the winrates yesterday. Asuryani are solid, but the Corsairs are extremely weak, with the Corsairs having a 24% winrate, the lowest of any faction, they are going to get buffed on release. Corsairs will be cheaper and all have shroud hull (they start the game stealthed so you dont need to use running silent at the beggining)

Stone I mostly play Dark Eldar and they are super easy with the right build but you have to like micro.

Doesnt help that the menouvering abilities if assigned to a key bind gets bugged after 2 / 3 times of use. Engines at 100 %, the fight hasnt even started, can use any menouvers...

Not just you.

I did lose to one eldar today for the first time but it wasn't a real victory, he couldn't get anywhere near my BS, barely made it through my shield before he had to pull back, sure I couldn't hit ♥♥♥♥ but one or 2 shots always make it, so he was losing the war of attrition badly, so instead of fighting he just took advantage of his very high speed and stealth LCs to keep capping points, I lost by like 200 points.

I was using a ramming empire build, needless to say I didn't ram anything as I couldn't get anywhere near him.

So for the boost bug, I've noticed those with high apm or spam right click a lot get hit by it more than those who do not. Still not sure what causes it but I rarely get hit with it and I am pretty low on APM and right click spam.

paper thin hulls... also they have to move to be defensive but since they are front mountet wepons only its hard to manage that.

by the way OP check the community news, the devs have posted the win % of each faction in the past few days.

Asuryani are stronger than you can imagine, but they are bugged as hell. Not only already mentioned "the boost bug" makes them extremely frustrating to play, but also their fleet abilities are bugged and do not improve their stances properly, so their key strenghts do not work. But even now craftworld fleet are esiest-to-play and (probably) strongest of all 3 eldar factions.
Corsairs, to be honest, really underpowered. And the main reason for that is not their price (as devs somehow consider), but their "fragile" attribute, what makes them worst faction in entire game.
I strongly recommend you read this thread, if you want in-derph analysis about current state of Eldar factions in terms of balance and more. The thread was written by best eldar player in entire community, therefore it is worth reading. https://forums.focus-home.com/topic/33400/the-big-eldar-thread-and-more

The biggest problem with the Corsairs are the higher crit chance on them. Especially in 2 vs 2 when you take the Corsair Battleship you are getting focues to death withing SECONDS! And the crits blow you appart.

I also feel corsair ans Asuryany are underpowered. I had though some success as Dark Eldar. I think the corsairs need serious and the Asuryani some buffing or maybe just bugfixing like some people here are saying they are bugged.

But hey in BFG 1 some people said "Eldar OP" and then the Eldar were nerfed into oblivion. Completly unplayable in SP for a casual player like me. So even now they are massivly underpowered and the ampunt of micro needed to get anything done makes them no Fun to play.

Furthermore half of the time their manouvering abilites are bugged.

So just something else here, I just played quite a few games and didn't get the bug once. I feel like not clicking much before, during, and after using the ability or just having a low apm in general seems to help prevent the bug.

The corsairs are bad, but the asuryani are good, even though reload trait doesn't give 40% fire rate increase and their 2 upgrades kin crewed batteries and the targetting run node range upgrade also don't work. Asuryani have some of the highest dps in the game, but their macros are all foward facing and they need to be moving almost all the time. So you have to position your ships in a way to maximize their firing time, so attacking the enemy from 2 different directions back and front is good. What ever side your opponent is facing you should flee from and only attack them when they turn away from you. Asuryani cruisers have best torpedo launchers in terms of raw damage as they fire 8 torpedoes which is the same amount as a imperial battleship.
