Ork Roks
As i try to main orks i took a look at theirs ships and checked them a bit in battles vs ai and players.
The one "shipclass" i've got the most questions to are the roks.
As far as i can see they got 3 (4) adventages and serval disadventages.
On the positives they got:
Roks don't have weaker rear or sidearmor.
Roks are immune to critical hits.
Their boardingaction is 360°.
Rok only, not medium, not mega. 200 speed.

Their negatives are:
Roks are on avg more than 1.5x more expensive as other ships of their size.
Roks can not rotate and have their torpedolaunchers split into 4 directions (means you will less likely beeing able to shoot at a certain ship and need to care to not shoot yours).
Roks don't have a lightning strike and their boarding action is as weak as a lightning strike.
Their Red Button seems to be weaker, making them poorer for ramming.

So why do you use Roks?
Do i miss a big strenght of them or are crit immunity and armor their strenghts?

Seems like noone uses roks or at least noone wants to share their secrets with a git.

You need to crush your enemy between a Rok and a hard place...
I.e. Hammer and anvil, pincer attacks crushing your enemy between your faster ships and the Roks.

roks dont care about turning. they can just change direction really fast.

their guns are 360 (not entirely sure if they all fire or if its split up so they each have their individual firing angle) so it can generally shoot at any target thats in range of it.

their armor makes them really durable to non armorpiercing weapons and with the no crits makes it so they are always running at full capacity.

they are very good gunplatforms but are vulnerable to boarding/strikecraft

so if you want very durable dakka platforms its what you go for. through the torpedoes are garbage dont really bother. except maybe boarding torpedoes since those dont deal friendly fire. or if you get into the middle of their formation and it doesnt matter where you fire them

I only mentioned turning (actualy rotating) for torpedos. Since its harder to aim if you can't "aim" your launchers.
Since boarding is not only for orks but accross all races very strong, it seems like a weakness to have worse boarding than most other ships. You basicly have a bit improved lightning strike able to pierce shields.
Also beeing high cost makes them even more vunerable to boarding as you could buy either a higher tier ship with more troops (which barly matters) or more ships.

As i said i see their strenghts in better armor and crit immunity, but it barly seems to be worth its price.
