it plays like data recovery from the first game except now you can capture them with anything including boarding torpedos
Edit: I was unaware that you can get plans from ships during fight (first playthrough). So what do we do? Make a new campaign and start all over, if so, that's a terrible design choice.
to get to the second sector in the necron campaign you have to use the dolmen gate i believe. you position your fleets in the system with a dolmen gate and, having the fleets you want to move selected, scroll out with mouse wheel to zoom in on the next sector. you then right click in the new sector the system with a dolmen gate there to move your fleets
thats how it worked for me in the beta
So the gate has a weird green icon that tells you where it is in the sector. Zoom out - mouse wheel - click next sectors dolman gate and voila
Welp that works!
Thanks for the info!
It's in the Nefera system. Keep an eye on your movement points before sending any fleets to the next sector.
I'm having a weird bug when selecting sectors, screen jumps around and it cuts of the starting sector.
