Battleplans
I'm doing the necron campaign right now and i have to go and capture planets in another sector but to get there I need battleplans. The game says you can get them from boarding enemy flagships or strategic points. Well none of my strategic points give any and I have wiped out all enemy fleets in my sector. So I am stuck in my sector with no battleplans and have basically just lost because of the urgency meter. Please help!

You need to move your fleets to the Dolmen Gate and with it selected, zoom out to the galaxy view, go to the other sector, and right click on the territory w/ the sister Dolmen Gate.

Same here.

Some planets can give you battleplans. Also, I believe that capturing them from the ship is either a random event during some of the boarding actions or you capture them from drifting hulks.

only enemy ships with the battleplan icon above them have one to steal, sometimes you can get two or three from a single battle.
it plays like data recovery from the first game except now you can capture them with anything including boarding torpedos

I've gone through the whole first sector in necron campaign. I have taken every system and fully upgraded every planet. I have not received a single battleplan and I cannot go further or launch any battles. Am I missing something? How do I proceed with the game???

Edit: I was unaware that you can get plans from ships during fight (first playthrough). So what do we do? Make a new campaign and start all over, if so, that's a terrible design choice.

to get to the second sector in the necron campaign you have to use the dolmen gate i believe. you position your fleets in the system with a dolmen gate and, having the fleets you want to move selected, scroll out with mouse wheel to zoom in on the next sector. you then right click in the new sector the system with a dolmen gate there to move your fleets

thats how it worked for me in the beta

the moment you use the dolman gate the urgency meter will reset for completing objectives

So the gate has a weird green icon that tells you where it is in the sector. Zoom out - mouse wheel - click next sectors dolman gate and voila

Welp that works!

Thanks for the info!

It's in the Nefera system. Keep an eye on your movement points before sending any fleets to the next sector.

I'm having a weird bug when selecting sectors, screen jumps around and it cuts of the starting sector.
