you could use a voidstalker in 2v2 and burst down their smaller ships. much easier to control and has long range (when combined with extra range for flagship weapons) and helps ensure map control as you drain them of their more mobile ships. downside is slower mobility and you have practically 1 ship (you can afford a nightshade escort but you'll mostly use it to cap points)
3 solaris light cruisers. with runic targeting node and the upgrade that makes it so it adds extra range (extra range doesnt work atm but should on release) and just circle around the enemy. good dps and keeps the holofield running at full. downside makes you more vulnerable to enemy fire as you sustain fire against them which could lead to a very horrible critical due to their take 100% extra crit chance vs them
those are the 2 i would use but then again i only play corsairs rarely. maybe someone else whos played them more can offer more advice
Doesn't really work in this beta since armour was buffed meaning starcannons only deal about a third of their previous damage.
