any good recommendation for destroying a fully armed space station during campaign?
they are so tough

depends on which faction your playing as. For imperials one of the better ways is to just dump Nova cannons on it, or use mass torpedo volleys since it can't move it's a sitting duck. For Necrons hit and run, attack, retreat, heal and attack again. For Tyranids use carriers stay outside it's range and abuse the fact you have infinite strike craft to board it to death. For Chaos use Acherons with their 22.5k range and sit still till it dies.

As the Imperium I find Lances to work wonders (even if its just from Turrets). One thing to bear in mind when attacking a space station in campaign is that you should always destroy the defending fleet first in an area that is far away from the Space Stations range. The AI will rarely play it smart and camp around the station and will often go straight for your fleet.

Always keep something with 18K+ range and just sit there for 5 minutes with max speed ...

They're not that tough, IIRC they're equivalent to a heavy cruiser-ish except their firepower is spread over 4 arcs, so just stay on one side, spread the damage between your cruisers and they shouldn't be a problem.

its easy just loose and come back

em, by the points to win missions, simply kill enemy ships, than come back and kill the remaining forces.

its really easy, as long you fight from planet to planet, so ships can retreat

I do this
1 attack 1 kill as many enemy ships as you can till timer is over
2 repair , and attack again and kill whats left.
