How do i make a sonar

i am making a sonar for a boat but i dont know how, i tried youtube but not actual tutorials came up. can anyone help me?

i tried this, it doesnt help as i dont know anything about sonar and i still need to build it.

Do want to build it or just have one. If you just want one, why not just download one and put it on your ship.

i want to build it and i have a rule that is no getting stuff from the workshop so i need to build it myself

Read the component description, place one down and hover over the logic nodes. Try understanding what they mean and if unsure about the units you can test or ask again.
Good rule to not use workshop.

I tried but how do i do the sonar interface, there isnt any video logic so you cant make an interface, cant you?

I don't say this to be rude, but if you don't know how to use microntrollers and lua to make a video display, making a custom sonar setup is well beyond your abilities. You need to start with more basic systems. Sonar is not a plug-and-play component.
