2 minutes ago i was tempted to buy the new dlc just to read its just some crappy empty map cash grab.
i really regret buying this game, the devs has no clue where to take the direction other then crap out dlc that the industry one should be free btw...
nobody should pay 10$ for this much of an empty dlc, with absolutely nothing to do.
ive been waiting since early access for new freaking missions.
these devs are really pathetic. and i will not bother supporting this type of development anymore.
i regret getting the game and the weapon dlc. trust me this industry dlc is gonna stay faaar away. 10$ is a scam for such empty dlc, there are cheaper FULL GAMES WITH MORE CONTENT on steam.
so thats what ill do.
this back to the future lookalike "no time" game under 10$ looks promising, and i really think there is where my 10$ will go instead of this low effort game.
i shouldve known when they released their game as 1.0 without even having finished the game...
screw you devs, fix your game already or gtfo.
nobody wants more empty maps with nothing to do.

please rename it search. cuz IM STILL SEARCHING FOR THE DAMN GAME!!!!
but i play mostly in single player so, mp fun has yet to be had.
but after a while in single player looking for stuff to do... it gets boring..
what frustrates me the most is i can see how immense the potential of this game is.
but the devs dont fully get a grasp on how much their game could become big if they actually put real effort into it...
i have nothing wrong with people enjoying what there is already, but its not to say this game has the potential to become way more then this lazy empty map dlc cash grab...
this game has potential that the devs are ruining, for what? lazy dlc with nothing to do? and some cash grab.
state of the gaming industry is only that, crap out the most dlc you can, polish that pile of crap until it shines so people still buys the shiny crap. but no real effort into making a jewel.
this game could become a real gaming jewel, but the devs only focus on polishing crap.

2 DLCs in two years and thats all the updates you see?
When had multiple major updates to several things in the game from Map terrain, weather, Creatures,outfits,items, NEW items.
If you don't like the game don't play it. Other than that you're just venting your frustrations to people who are actually playing and still playing and enjoying the game and appreciating the updates even if those updates sometimes break things. Its one thing to vent cause an update breaks something or multiple things its another to claim the only updates you see are DLCs.
All I had to do was google Stormworks updates and there is a website that lists all of them from start.

Its a game. Some love it some hate it some hate and still play it. Some love it and don't get to play it as much as they would like.
I have the new DLC ... and its NOT some "crappy empty map cash grab."
The NEW DLC is actually 1 1/2x the size of the original Sawyer Island. Ive Driven the roads, Ive road the rail lines, Ive explored the mine, I have been down into the quarries, Ive been in the houses, Ive been to the docks. I have flown all over the map and still have not flown to all the locations though I can see them from the air.
Ive rode the dunes Ive been on the platueas Ive climbed the hills and the mountains. Ive been to the rebuilt version of Chernobyl, Ive been inside the compound. Ive landed at the Airports. Ive seen and pet the cows, Ive seen and pet the goats, Ive seen and pet the chickens, Ive seen and pet the dogs, Ive seen and pet the foxes, Ive taken possession of the dogs Ive driven with them in the cab cockpit and passenger seats.
Ive made Scenery already as an environment mod for the new DLC.

Ive played Multiplayer on the DLC Ive had Combat battles on the DLC Ive helped people with their Trains derailed on the New DLC. Ive driven a train or 3 on the new DLC myself.
IT IS NOT "SOME CRAPPY EMPTY MAP CASH GRAB"...
Its a massive new mainland and set of Islands around it with New Bridges, New Airports, New towns, New Mines, New Tunnels I havent even went inside of in the minde, New mountains, New Animals that you can interact with. New Massive Build areas New massive Ship Docks, New Light House, Lots of new little Towns, New Gas Station, New Garages, New Ghost Town, New Train Stations ect... There are just a couple little issues that are being worked out and have been reported thus far.
The new DLC is a Blast to explore and play on. Its an open world to explore fly around drive around travel the rails of find things to do in. It does have missions that spawn there as well. Ive already done a rescue and relocate to safe zone one myself.
You are the only one who decides what you do on that map. Its up to you to use vehicles and or create them for tasks or fun. Its bizzare to me how many people think its a cash grab knowing the amount of things there actually are that have been added that were not there before. You create your game. You decide what you do in the new lands. Maybe try grabbing a buddy and hitting up a server and going in and having fun VS just looking at it and saying BORING. Anything you don't make any effort to do anything on is going to be boring.
And yes give me everything for free on which several people worked for days to program it but don't dare you to force me to mow a single lawn for an hour to earn me the lousy 10 bucks I need to buy the dlc... 😱🤣😂
