Stormworks: Build and Rescue

Stormworks: Build and Rescue

Current state of the weapons DLC campaign mode?
Hello! Just thought I'd check if the campaign mode has been fleshed out more since the DLC was released. I doubt it but a man can dream lol

That's not how Stormworks development works. The development process is: develop an idea to an early alpha state, release it as a DLC or drummed up update with no testing and usually to the detriment of the rest of the game, hotfix a few minor issues, and then move on to the next idea.

I agree with Aven. Just good enough, move on the the next thing we won't do well. You can see this everywhere in the game (character model, roads, fish, window blocks.....)
In my opinion, here are the rankings of all the DLC's:
1) Industrial Frontier
2) Search and Destroy
3) Space

Anyone agree?

To answer your question, not much. I don't know if you here when they released the new outfit equipment but they came about a couple of weeks after the DLC. Not that it means anything since they aren't actually in the DLC (I think).
Apart from that, I really think of anything else that's been released as part of the DLC.
Well, that's a damn shame. I was really looking forward to it. I mostly played From the Depths and that game is pure jank. The only thing it has over Stormworks imo is how deep the military stuff goes. I was hoping Stormworks would outdo it with the DLC.

In what way does military stuff go deep?

It has different building materials with different stats that affect how it reacts to being damaged. Has concepts like shell bouncing and spaced armor, lets you customize missiles, build custom guns and even customize the shell the gun fires. The campaign is more fleshed out too (though still jank)

yeah pretty much how it is. a lot of things were pretty half-azzed or bare bones.
