Stormworks: Build and Rescue

Im still trying to create a thumbnail for a boat I made. Its a 512 x 512 PNG and yes its in the correct folder. Whenever I upload it its showing up as a white square. I decided to see what would happen if I were to use a thumbnail from a previous creation (one that I knew worked) and it still showed up as white. I literally dont know what other options I have to make this thumbnail besides letting someone else do it for me.

Heres the thumbnail im trying to create

Did you touch the thumbnail overlay file that by default puts a coloured corner over?
There is a way to upload a thumbnail with SteamCMD.

Yes I did. I don't understand how it would start acting up now after I've already done it with a few other creations

Neither. Maybe recheck those files just in case and tell us if they're correct just so we can rule that possibility out. It sounds like that's the problem.

Your right. I looked at it again and the template is white. I've checked it before but I didn't do it the same way this time.
Is there a way to revert to a previous save for the vehicle template or do I need to download a new one?

You can ask someone to give it to you.
When you verify game files it gets reset to default along with workbench sizes. Use a transparent capable tool next time you edit the thumbnail overlay.

Here's a guide with the files. I've used them and I don't think they are corrupted, but check anyway.

EDIT= Wrong link but now corrected :)

I had a look at your thumbnail. It's good, i like it very much. I've also seen some of your screenshots and your crabbing vessels. Good luck!

(You can verify game files with Steam, right click on the game.)
You can update the thumbnail when updating a creation.

Canva is way easier than GIMP. Although i use Adobe because theres a lot less premium features. GIMP just seems complicated.

Yeah gimp is pretty complicated. For what im doing canva works better anyways since designing a thumbnail is much easier
