mini-movie for a sinking ship idea

i rewatched a night to remember recently, and it put me into a stormworks phase again which gave me an idea.

get 15 or so people, all crew or passengers, and have a story of the ship on its fateful voyage and the survivors being rescued. the actual ship is yet to be planned, i just would like a yes or no from the community until then :)
