However, for a physics heavy game like Stormworks, multiplayer is never going to be perfect, even in the best conditions.
I have tried playing with some other friends, and there is still a lot of lag weirdness, but it's usually manageable, until a sea crate decides it no longer wants to be tethered to this mortal world, and everything catches fire. Back when the game was functioning ok, we did also have issues with the position of a small crate that we had to transport. All three of us playing saw it in a different spot, and it caused some really funky things to happen when more than one of us tried to pick it up.
The game just seems to hate the Canadian friend in particular though.
I've had a suspicion like the others have suggested that a dedicated server would mitigate some of the issues, but I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet.
