The in game voice with radios and loudspeakers seems like it would be so much fun, but...
my friends are stubborn and set in their ways. And they refuse to use PTT for proximity chat.
The fact that this game doesn't have voice activated proximity voice seems baffling to me. Looking at all the effort that must have gone to making the in-game VOIP, omitting such a basic and crucial feature seems just wasteful.
Referring to Booze_Rooster's reply above; if fun in locked behind a wall of inconvenience, a lot of people will just forgo said fun, and use the less-fun but more convenient Discord instead.
