That's my Desktop. It runs Stormworks good with good graphics. Only thing I would change, and solely for Stormworks optimization, is my CPU. I'd go with Intel if this was my primary or only game. However I am happy with AMD for pretty much every other game/thing I do on my PC.
My specs in a laptop would cost a lot, so I personally will always recommend a good ol PC tower.
And what people fail to understand is a Laptop as a very short lifespan compared to a PC.
Even shorter if you use it for long periods of time everyday.
I personally don't understand laptop gaming. I mean I do and don't. I definitely understand the desire for portability, buuut when my CPU or whatever ♥♥♥♥♥ out on my tower, I'll go spend $whatever on that component.
When my CPU (or whatever) ♥♥♥♥♥ out on my work laptop, I'll need an entirely new laptop (can fix it for sure but rarely is it worth it cost wise).
PC tower gaming FTW!
My PC is like 13-14 years old and I've yet had to replace a component other than a fan that a blade had broken off lol.
I've owned 1 21st century Laptop and it went dead in 3 years. I will never buy a Laptop ever again.
I say 21st century because I do own another Laptop a still functional Toshiba T1000 lmao.
I bought a HP laptop in 2017 and it died by 2021. GRANTED, I was running Transport Fever 2 and Cities Skylines on an i7 with no standalone GPU, but still, dogwater for how much it was!
"21st century" is awesome and true, but god does that make me feel old reading it out loud lmaoooo. My dad still has a Dell Inspiron from like 2005. That SOB still works, and well!
