Stormworks: Build and Rescue

Stormworks: Build and Rescue

air tank/air supply
i think one thing that should be added to stormworks is air tanks or if under water air supply so like you can be under water without an air tank but youll run out sooner but if you have and air tank in or on the ship you can live longer under water and when you start to run out of air side effects take place such as slowness being dizzy and movement will have a drift or something to make out some effects of low oxygen and air tanks if shoot or damaged will explode and damage blocks around it but if too deep the tank will implode

if this is a thing in game, there should be an option to stop it

right, but if you release compressed gas from a tank into a submarine, you raise the internal pressure significantly. They should add getting the bends to the game...

Modern submarines have the ability to manufacture oxygen from water (electrolysis). It uses electricity which is pretty abundant from batteries in a diesel sub or from nuclear generators. Internal pressure in the sub is still maintained at 1 atmos regardless of depth. Hull strength is all that matters then.

i thought they used chemical means instead of electrolytic means nowadays.

I think you are talking about Chemical Oxygen Concentrators. They aren't anywhere as prevalent as Electrolysis and the process is very volatile as it involves burns at high temperature. Oxygen and high heat in a confined space is a very dangerous combination. You may see Concentrators in small emergency kits but for mass production its very risky.
