Is it me or are ammo drums for the autocannons not very good, ammo holding wise

The problem is that I am trying to fit 1x light autocannon into a belly heli mount for a gunner ANDDDDDDD I can only hold 100rds. While it sounds like a lot the problem is that it only gives you about 13-14s of firing and even then it isn't reallly good for dealing with targets unless you somehow land in hostile territory to jump out, somehow and for some reason take ammo from a drum you've been carrying and put said rounds into the gun system

you should use ammo belt connectors, no its not just you.
the light autocannons arent very good for far range and i think you should try to use them for closer range where it is easy to hit, unless you have a ballistic calculator, than free reign

What is really dissapointing is that a while ago they were talking about possibly adding flexible ammo belt. That would have been a HUGE thing for something like what you are trying to do. The drums are HUGE for the relative capacity. Not to mention that The ammo size is about 3 times the size it should be, otherwisethe drums could have a larger capacity.

Exactly... I mean we can pass power, fluid etc through a hose, why not "ammo"?
