Guide to start building?
The whole process seems daunting.
Is there any guide made for us new players?
If not, could i get some tips?

Thanks for your time!

Hi there! As experienced Space Engineer, I thought building takes interior planning first and exterior all around interior after.

I was wrong. In Stormworks, it goes from outside inside, so make floatable shell first and fill it with stuff after. Here are some tips that you want to learn before starting build "big":

- Try to understand scales and sizes first. When you don't know character is 7-8 blocks tall, you can accidentally get a lifeboat instead of cruiser.

- Learn Symmetry and Cut tools, it will help a lot.

- When you have no idea how component works, build yorself a test rig and learn.

- Use extra dials and displays to check (debug) intermediate values system outputs.

- Build your hull as simple as possible, test it's floatability as soon as possible.

- Upgrade your brick-shaped shell to a ship-like hull slowly.

- Mind center of mass. Stability of vessel depends on it.

- Use tilt sensors to detect and fix list angles.

I'm assuming you played the tutorial first and trying out beginner mode and not advanced. I used the small boat from the tutorial and built upon that. That really helped me get my basics down.

Also remember: Mass is a thing. Each block/item has weight to it. Some more than others.

Once you have the basics down, building on advanced is totally worth while and a lot of fun.
