Need Help Learning to Land on Aircraft Carrier
Landing a plane in a small space is hard, and when that space is moving, it gets harder.

I have a Biplane that is 25 blocks wide, and the runway portion of the carrier is 31 blocks wide by max build length in the large dock grid. I have an arresting strip of electrical anchors on sliding tracks to stop the biplane if it makes it on the deck.

The issue I am having it the initial line up, as I always seem to end up at a sharp angle to the carrier despite approaching from the aft while it is under way.

Currently spawning the biplane and carrier separately, so each is it's own creation and not at risk of despawning due to getting to far apart.

Any tips for how to go about landing on the carrier?

Alright so before you consider landing remember your brakes as the lack of space. As for the line up that is all experience

My tips though? When landing make your nose is lined up with the middle and your throttle is at a 10-20% but that depends on the plane

An arresting system of grab blocks might seem helpful but if you don't catch them and you mess up they can throw you off the ship. Only use connectors as a basic system to help refuel/secure aircraft after landing.

However for a biplane a good tip that i remember is when your landing try to land right in the middle but use a thrust inverter (reverse) and try to roll backwards. This way you can hopefully land on the aircraft carrier with less problems. Those are my tips.

How do you do an arresting system? Mag alls are too weak to catch anything.

i would say stabilize your speed around 180-190 km/h, trim it perfectly, and apply parking brake if it possible without ditching before touchdown. use high-grip tires on the wheels. i can land my supersonic f-15 almost anywhere with this method.

IR autoland is fairly simple and helpful
