Yea. I have a medium engine. Both engine and gyro are set to 90%. When RPMs get right around 26, it starts to climb and I can't get it to level out.
Throttle is controlled via up and down arrows through the seat.
I added the helo to the workshop.

Sorry, I miss spoke. I already have collective as arrows and throttle as "1 and 2"
Edit: I really think it was as simple as not setting the rotor to neutral. I had it at positive. I don't have quite the power to increase altitude and move forward so its just an adjustment, but with a quick try it seems to be better.
take a look at this. You can use the engine controller to make it run better. Without an engine control system your jet will potentially explode. if you want you can cop and paste the control panels into your helicopter. the throttle settings can be adjusted in the micro controller.
on your helicopter. select the seat and set the up/down sensitivity to 1 and change it to sticky. Change the rotor to neutral and it should be good. just add some throttle and tap the up key untill it starts to hover.
Adding a few more blades helped out with the lift. Not sure if you want to keep it at 4 for the look but it might be something to consider.
Dang. Alright. I could have swore I messed around with the rotor setting earlier but I mess around with a lot today. I got everything running well, but 60 rpms to the rotor seems super high. Let me try it.
Thanks! Its technically my second. My first was like a 4x9 block with an engine, a seat and a rotor.
I'm not opposed to more blades at all. I had thought that adding more blades would give me an issue as I thought I was under powered and over weight.
Got cha. I figured not to the motor. I have a gear box that isn't turned on my default. its a 3:1 facing the engine. I usually turn it on before starting the helo.
Thats the plan next. Messing around with creative mode so I can throw it in my career. Don't have the jets engine unlocked yet. I do have the same helo build but with a jet engine in it.
How do you go about measuring the rpms of the rotor? My current issue is getting this helo not to sink in the ocean when I try and land.
The floats kinda suck and buoyancy of ecerything does too. The only way i have been able to make a helo float is to have an eclosed cabin and use the floats for stability. The center of mass is really high in helocopters so they tend to flip over or sag in the back instead of just floating.
Thanks for you help! I appreciate it! I'll give that a shot. I'll upload the new front end I made here shortly.
