Ramp door for amphibious vehicle

How do I make a door that doubles as a ramp? I'm building an amphibious vehicle. I've tried using robotic pivots but when I go into the water, my vehicle floods and sinks. I want to use the door frame and door panel parts.

I just build a separate door and ramp. The problem with using a door itself is that the door hinge can effectively only go 90 degrees and needs to spawn closed. So at most, it can open flat. Adding an outer door or ramp is more resources but it works WAY better in practice. I build it so that my ramp lowers first, then the sealed door opens upwards. I usually have a upwards slope design so that the ramp doesn't need to be 90 degrees up to look good.

Its not super great but it works and is easy to do. Not sure how others do it.
