Submarine types/smaller Nuclear Reactor
I am building a Typhoon-class submarine and I realized that current Nuclear reactor fills up almost from the ceiling to the ground. I think we should have smaller types of Nuclear reactor so reactor can be better fitted.

Is there already Modular Nuclear Reactor coming or not?

I was hoping to build something like the S6G reactor currently in service with the USN but that was obviously a false hope.

On top of that, the nuclear reactor example puts out so little power that it is pointless as an example of what you can build.

you can rotate the reactor chamber, it doesn't need to be vertical.

You can, but there's no way, currently, to make an effective compact reactor like the S6G (US) or OK-650 (USSR/RF). Also, pressurization doesn't do much to impact the performance of the currently available reactor parts.

Actually no. You can get immense amounts of power out of just 3 fuel rods. The more fuel rods that are touching, the more heat is generated. If you plan it out smart you can probably get 1000 swatts out of 3 rods. Sure, it would be nice if we could have smaller reactor parts, but our current ones are incredibly potent. With a horizontal enclosure the reactor should be fairly compact, excluding the 16 turbines you’d need to harness the full power of the reactor.

Did you make working horizontal reactor? I try since update release, and even with 33 fuel rods, can't heat up water more then 70 degree

I recommend to load the reactor example that is in the game and see how the automatic control system is working.. The example reactor is working 100% as it should.
tip..: if you install example 2 turbines you get double power, and inbetween the turbine and the generator put a gearbox with a 2:1 ratio. ( or some other ratio if you like )

Teach me, I want to make that powerful of a reactor. My two reactors produce a fraction of that with nine rods each. I need to know the way to amplify the power output to around 1 thousand watts.
