Capturing locations?

How does the location capturing system work? Does it involve the radar truck? Do I need to destroy it? Put a vehicle near it?

you need to go inside the trunk and wait, on the map it says the progress on the capture and
when it gets to 100% the island is yours! (also if you look at the wall in the truck it says your progress)

It doesn't seem to be working for me, I am sitting in the truck but progress hasn't moved from 50%. Any suggestions?

How long does it take? I have noticed no change, it's always at 50%

usually it takes a long time but it takes even longer if its already a enemy base if it take longer than like 1 min for a neutral base to be yours and it does not go up its a glitch if it still doesn't go up try a different world

Started a new world, now it works. Go figure lol

Press Enter and look if you have errors, you may need to write ( ?reload_scripts )

I found out that sitting in the chairs of the vehicle makes it go by faster.
