In my opinion, you will have an easier time incorporating VTOL capability into your seaplane than you will getting it to float at a level that allows it to take off from water via a standard takeoff.
Simply make the bottom half of it be a boat, then enclose it with the top half of a plane to have an easy one. To lift off, the most important thing is fast forward speed. You don't need to push upward from the water to lift off, as the water will do that on its own.
and that made no sense
that confused me alot.
Its really difficult to build an aircraft that is powered purely by electric motors, they are heavy, they need lots of batteries, lots of batteries make it heavier.
You can build very small aircraft with electric only, but they really don't fly for very long.
You need a lot of power to get a seaplane free of the water, electric will not get you there.
