- (Most likely) Something got corrupted when saving the microcontroller and reading the data causes the game to fall over. Your best bet is to go to %appdata%/Stormworks/Data/ and move the possibly corrupted entries away from that folder. I'd start with moving all entries in that folder elsewhere and seeing if the game crashes, then introducing all but the last few.
- Your antivirus recently got an update and gets really upset when the game tries to access anything in appdata. You need to exclude %appdata%/Stormworks% in your antivirus. This is more common than you'd think.
- (Unlikely, but possible) There is something off with your C drive. Perform a health check with HDDScan or DiskCheckup.
- (Very unlikely, but possible) There is something off with your RAM, but you could tell this if you have issues in other programs too.
If you can spawn the vehicle, it means the vehicle file at least likely isn't corrupted.
