If the heli is very small and don´t have much mass or weight, the torque from the rotors could get it unstable in combination with a gyro trying to overcompensate.

Try to give the heli more weight and to center the rotor as much as possible in the creation.

Check that there is no "positive" mode on in the rotor causing the problem.

The Rotor needs to be above the center of mass, offset is only viable if its minimal.
(and not sideways)

The tail rotor needs to be connected to the power, gyro and its blades need to be on neutral, so that the blades get angled.
Check if the gyro is connected correctly:
-Yaw -> tailrotor
-Pitch -> main rotor pitch
-roll -> Main rotor roll

Look if your pilot seat controls are connected properly to the gyro aswell.

And one thing many did wrong: The main rotor has a main direction and needs to be placed in the right rotation, if the arrow points to the side, then its bound to fail.

You could also upload it to the workshop and post the link here, so that we can take a look at it.

i did all and it still doesnt work

That’s why some helicopters have 2 rotors, so the 2nd one can spin the opposite direction and revert the spinning, (my cousin told me, he works for NASA)

Stormworks try not to necro 2 year old post challenge (impossible):

Coaxial Rotors are one simple solution. I just built an attack helicopter and i started by using one rotor. but then i got the same problem, it kept yawing to the left. Then I added another Rotor which I rotated with "U". And now it doesnt yaw anymore because the second rotor is countering the other rotorm, just like ZBRUH10 said. - Yes it is a simple solution, but i like the looks of a 1 rotor heli more....

Yep, coaxial works, but if you want the classic 1 rotor + tail rotor you will then need to invert the tail rotor when placing it with default "U" key, or invert the Yaw value with a "-x" function block.

It's okay to necro this kind of topic since beginners can't understand old tutorials with most recent mechanics :)

I'd suggest quadcopters, as they are quite robust in my experience, but you would have to use a MC that divides control to the multiple rotors. Once I made my own, I went ham with it. From nuclear airships to flying my largest ship.
