Start with more money

There used to be a way to start with more money has this been removed I havent played in ages and wanted to get back into the game

Go to C:\Users\(Your username for the computer you are on)\AppData\Roaming\Stormworks\saves\(Savegame name) and open the scene.xml in a text editor like notepad, but I recommend downloading Notepad++ as it opens it faster.

Search for: currency= and you will see a number that corresponds to the money you have in game, type the number you want (Don't get overzealous, you can cause it to go negative if you do.) and save it.
Load it back up in the game and enjoy your newfound riches.

You need to change a setting in file explorer in order to see the appdata folder. Go to the tab View at the very top of the file explorer (the program used to browse files) and check the "Hidden items" box.

Also you can just paste this link into windows search: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Stormworks\saves
