boat won't spawn

I started a brand new game. I built a boat. I'm negative 2k in debt cause i don't have money. My boat doesn't spawn. I click the spawn button in the workshop and nothing happens. Not even i nice pop up window that gives me any indication why my boat won't spawn. (Hint, hint). What am i doing wrong? I'm a new person and this is my 1st game.

Try verifying the integrity of the files in steam. Maybe its a game error

if you dont have money look for crates hidden on islands or floating in the ocean, they usually contain up to 20k. which is mroe than enough to cover the price of the boat, or just try to build on a budget using only the essentials - if you have any vehicles spawned in the world already, return them to the workbenchh and youll be given the money back which you spawned the boat for.

I don't know if this was fixed but some time ago tutorial was bugged a bit. Going from "home" too the dock the game would just take 20k away from you but didn't spawn a boat.

Try disabling the tutorial, or if that doesn't work try going too the dock, not by the stairs (jumping from the hill, ect.)
