But I would like the mission timer to stop our at least increase when the casualties are medicaly treated in med beds.
Your ship (with med beds) is the ambulance, you can stabilize the patient (therefore it should increase the mission timer) but not cure him. That's why you have to bring them to a hospital.
If your ship would be the hospital they would have to stay there for days or weeks for treatment. So not really useful.
When playing career the missions are at the beginning usually not more than 10 km away. You can easily built a small ship which goes 20 m/s and can do this missions.
When you explore the map and buy new bases the missions get tougher and spawn farer away. At this point you should have helicopter and bigger and faster ships.
Maybe you got a realy bad map seed 😔
I don't know how fast the starter boat is, but my self built starter boat runs 20 m/s.
So in 1 hour I would drive 72 km... That's nearly up to the arctic...
