Cargo container drop off.

This is for the randomly generated ones dockside, I picked one up, took it to its destination but I cant see any specific area to drop it off, its the sawyer south dock and theres no marked areas or anything. I did try to drop it near to the map marker but that didnt seem to work. Does anyone know where I can drop these off?

The other cargo crates are all near the dock, which is quite a way south from the marker.

The container gets credited quite early when getting close to the harbor area which often gets not recognized by the people.
At south harbor entering the paved harbor area you see to the left the new containers and to the right is space to drop the delivery. The contrainers do not despawn at delivery.
So I guess you already got payed for it but did not recognize it.

Quick question about those containers: Do they respawn/regenerate over time so you can deliver them again, or is it a once-off thing? Or do delivered containers get a new delivery destination?

The delivered containers despawn if you get out of their spawn distance (2km).
New containers will spawn over time but only if you leave the area.
