Next step do you have a look in mind, if not good old internet images will give you ideas, decide what you want it to do, you can do a bit of everything in an ok manner or do one or two things well, the more specialised your craft the the hassle it'll be, nothing worse than being six months in and lost in your own logic, with systems piled on top of systems.
When you've an idea in your mind lay the first blocks, my personal pref is to build a rough frame, that marks the maximum length, the over all height of the hull and depending on design deck height and engine room pos, this frame is literally just lines of blocks nothing fancy.
So basic frame laid out, I always start from the bow, by laying in the blocks for the stem, the leading edge of the bow, the pointy bit, obviously this is when your first decision comes, do you, use 1x1 wedges all the way down, start with 2x1 instead for steeper stem, go 1x1 and the 2x1 for a finer bow?
SO many choices all of them subjective, all i can say is don't be afraid of using all the block shapes, they can go together in some very pleasing ways that make for imo very attractive more realistic looking hulls. The more you build the easier it'll get.
Hull is coming along nicely
