End to map
Weird question but is the a end to the map or does it keep going forever(or until the game crashes).

I think that the only areas of land are the main island area, Sawyer isles and the arctic. I think the rest of existence in the game is just empty ocean.

Didn't go there yet, furthest I went from spawn was ~150km to the west to test VTOL stability when unattended. I guess there's no real border, the physics might start getting wonky but other than that I doubt you'll run into an invisible wall or similar.

It would be pretty cool if there was some kinda island the devs added in that no one had found yet.

Yes, there is border, but it's kinda far from spawn. My friend reached it a few times on a hypersonic jet plane.

Sort-of border is +-500km in any side. Most creations start to glitch long before that due to floating point errors. So if you want go there - keep vehicle simple: no doors, hinges or other robotics and etc.

I went outside of the map rendered regions, I mean the black areas. It just gets really glitchy and inherently laggy the further you go
