Helicopter Shaking Bug

Anyone know how to fix this? Engine power set to 75%, gyro max power set at 50%, engine rps limited to 20, small engine with a 1:2 gearbox. I've adjusted all those settings to various levels and cannot make this stop.
It does this with every helicopter I've ever built, even ones that were working normally prior to the curves update. I've not managed to build a stable one since. Comparing to working workshop craft doesn't produce an obvious answer either. What am I missing?

Hi! This is a side-effect of the gyro being a bit overzealous when you put out immense power (such as 40 RPS, which translates to 3000RPM on the heli blades) onto the rotor.

This is a quote on a long thread full of headbutting and quizzical conversion about the exact issue:

It's the simplest fix to the issue. The gyro is usually overzealous and jittery if your center of mass isn't centered properly with the center of lift, and it's not always simple to do.

Try to set gyro power for 15-25% of max for both pitch and roll. You can put a slider to change it at fly to find best option for you.

Putting those both together managed to do the trick. Time to dust off some of the bigger ones to see what I can do to fix them. Thanks guys. Been beating myself up over that for ages!
